Many students struggle with learning, because reading and math are not automatic for all of us. We can also be easily distracted from focusing, whether we are at school or at home. Each one of us has a unique brain that works better for some tasks than for others.

At Tucker Tutoring Plus, we work with each individual student to find the best learning strategies and to teach organization and focusing skills. We also communicate with your teachers and school professionals, with your permission, to find out how your student is navigating the classroom environment.

However, we are not licensed to diagnose specific learning disabilities or to make medical diagnoses. We will refer you to other professionals, including school counselors, psychologists, medical doctors and education specialists whenever the need arises. We will work with these specialists to build a positive, successful tutoring experience for you.
